Privacy Policy

How information is handled in the Genchord app and on this website.

Overview

This policy applies to the Genchord mobile app and the website at genchord.app. The sections below explain the information involved when you use each service.

Genchord app

The app uses the chords, progressions, and other music input you choose to provide to display results and play sounds. Its Create feature lets you collect chords and progressions. If you connect a MIDI device, the app uses its input for the interactive music tools.

When you download the app through the App Store, Apple handles the download and any transactions under its own privacy policy.

Genchord website

The website does not currently include an account, contact form, or payment form. When you visit, your browser requests pages and media from the services that deliver them. Those services may process technical information, such as your IP address, browser details, and request time, to deliver content and maintain security. Product images and videos are served from Cloudflare R2.

Chord selections you make in the website's chord finder are used to display the result in your browser. The website does not offer an account in which to save those selections.
